地缘群体 geographical group
以地域为中介组成的群体。即由于人们居住地理上的接近而形成的群体，如自然村落或都市社区内形成的某些群体。它是由世代定居或长期相处造成的，特别是那些较封闭的地域，更容易形成这种地缘群体。因为地缘为人们提供了有利于交往的时空条件。此外，因地缘的历史性关系而形成的同乡会、校友会等也可归于此类。
