纤维配比和非木材纤维浆

古老的染色清液涂布纸用的是部分或全部非木材浆的纤维配比。欧洲在发展机制纸之初的几十年抄造涂布加工原纸中，也有用非木材浆造涂布原纸的配比，然而近百年来，欧、美、日的涂布加工原纸典型的都用全木浆作配比，而且大部分是针叶树与阔叶树木浆混合配比。像稻、麦草之类被称之为谷类秆，每年的产出是29亿t(1997年FAO估计)，用在全球造纸业的占造纸业产量的9．1%(1997年估计)，大部分谷类秆都是在田里烧掉的，与能源政策和节约木材资源都是不相符的。全球造纸产量1988年为2．1亿t，估计到2010年是3．5亿t，到时对木材造纸的原料来说是短线。笔者认为像中国这样森林面积比例非常小的，而今后涂布加工纸需用量将是相当可观的国家来分析，非木材浆配入涂布原纸以及涂布原纸板内，在近20年内速生林没有群出以前，至少是必不可少。关于非木材纤维的形态、性质及其制浆等的范畴，全国已有有关科研报告、着作及手册传播得很普遍了，限于本书篇幅，不再编写。

关于非木材浆料配抄涂布原纸，我国有不少厂还在实施着，也有不少工厂因制浆污染停止了配抄，另外中国制浆造纸工业研究所以及西北轻工业学院都发表过用50%草类纤维做好涂料印刷纸原纸的研究报告。
